Casa Amba is a boutique serviced Villa conveniently located in the green & serene area of Lapkaman near Ognaj Circle on S.P Ring Road. The Garden View Double Room (or an upgrade as per TCA) to the Terrace Garden Studio / Suite all of which are well appointed & feature en-suite bathrooms. Long term booking is available for Corporate Execs, Students, Tourists etc. We also offer additional 10% discount for lady guests (T&CA) A Light Veg Breakfast for 1 is incl & all meals may be arranged T&CA-TY Casa Amba is a charming boutique Villa nestled amidst tall Neem trees & set in an beautiful oasis of lush greenery. Our peaceful, pollution-free & tranquil surroundings help one to relax, refresh & rejuvenate with Mother Nature. The Villa's architecture has been personally designed & built in a unique Southwest USA Pueblo ranch style, but modernized in a more crisp & angular form. From the Villa, you can often see Nilgai /Bluebull or Indian Antelope, Peacocks, Monkeys, Rabbits, Pheasants etc many a times just outside your windows ! The main sounds you will probably hear during your stay are the chirping of a variety of hummingbirds, sparrows, robins, peacocks, doves, roosters etc., & yes the occasional monkeys ! Our elegant spacious Garden View Guest room is fully furnished, Air-conditioned , well equipped & feature openable windows & glass areas that lets in plenty of fresh air & sunlight for a bright, cheerful & airy ambience. Our exterior/exterior walls & ceilings are uniquely made of eco friendly hand laid "Lippan" or Adobe mud & brick, which not only imparts a very rustic & cozy country ambience, but also helps to naturally keep the Villa's interiors cool & comfy during hot summers. In our humble effort to contribute our small part to help save our planet, the use of 100% natural soil & lawn in the balcony & roof gardens also naturally cools the Villa's internal room temperature by as much as 12-18 ° C during peak summers! This helps to conserve at least 25-30% of energy for our air conditioning plants, further helping to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. A real oasis hidden in hot Ahmedabad, surrounded by the Nature and peaceful ambience:) The rooms are spacious, comfortable and eco-friendly. Shaum is nice and helpful, his staff people are great, sweet dogs are friendly! Love them all!:)))

I stayed at Casa Amba for two months. I can't thank enough the host, Shaum. Considering all that I was born and raised in a different country, Japan, and I was used to a different lifestyle in the U.S., he provided me with detailed service in a very timely manner. During my stay at Casa Amba, even from the time of reservation until the end of my stay, Shaum treated me with great care and kindness, responding promptly and flexibly to all matters. I feel super fortunate that I have got to know him and been connected with him and stayed in his place, Casa Amba. Shaum arranged meals for me, provided me with the furniture I needed, and even accompanied me on my personal errands and grocery shopping. For me, who didn't know much about life in India, Shaum also gave me many wonderful mini-lectures on the history and culture of Ahmedabad and Gujarat, full of intelligence and humor, along with very delicious, healthy, and nutritious dinners. His homemade signature dessert, the Casa Amba, was mind-blowing. So, precious. Also, whenever I was tired from work or facing some issues, he would listen to me kindly and even gave me advice and alternative plans. Shaum’s "hospitality" truly represents “good wills, good words, and good deeds,” and I can’t find words of my gratitude to him. This place, Casa Amba, is an environmentally friendly home designed with stylish furnishings in common areas in each room, and a comfortable bed mattress promises a very deep and soothing night's sleep. Also, spacious common areas have been thoroughly cleaned. The carefully maintained gardens and balconies will heal and nourish your body and soul like me who wanted to forget for a while the hustle and bustle of the city life, simply being surrounded by nature. It is a perfect place to enjoy the luxury of living a healthy and peaceful life. The housekeepers also took great care of me from cleaning the room to preparing meals and doing laundry. They also taught me Hindi and were always very kind to me. Having lived with cute German shepherd dogs (Sheeba, Sir James, and Brandy) has become such an unforgettable memory for me. Every morning, they will come to you, saying good morning to you, and entertain you. Their snack time after lunch and the evening walk with them are priceless. These adorable girls would be happy to welcome you upon arrival as well. This place is truly a paradise in Ahmedabad, as the name, Casa and Amba implies. If you are planning to stay in Ahmedabad, whether you are visiting from India or abroad, for a short stay or a long stay for whatever reason, this is the place you should definitely try. Shaum, his baby girls, and very kind housekeepers, will wholeheartedly host you. Again, Shaum, thank you so much for hosting me and providing me with great service.
Shaum is the best host. Very kind, welcoming. Geeta ben took care of us and cooked great food. The place is very clean, homely and it gave me country feels. Shaum's fur babies are like cherry on the cake. The surroundings are very peaceful and natural. We saw Neelgai and peacocks wandering around. Overall my experience was 10 on 10, it just couldn't have been better. Loved it, definitely coming here again.

At the Villa you will feel as calm, rejuvenated & as one with nature, in a safe, peaceful & pollution-free sylvan surroundings. The main sounds you will probably hear in the day are the chirping of a variety of birds, peacocks & the occasional monkeys!
From the Villa you can take a lovely walk around our society area, enjoy the spacious lawns & gardens of the club house & many a time you will see Nilgai Bluebull or Indian Antelope, Peacocks, Monkeys, Rabbits, Mongoose, etc. sometimes just outside of your Villa's window!
For bird watchers, there's Thol Bird Sanctuary, which is at Thol lake 15 minutes away, which attracts flocks of flamingos, pelicans, kingfishers, ibis, and leggy storks. Thol is a real bird watcher's paradise ! If you would like to go sightseeing in the city, or a historic tour or sample our city's street food

Uber is available & normally the best option, also Ola, Public AMTS Bus, Private Taxis are all available & so is the ubiquitious rickshaws / tuk-tuks !
>> VILLA TAXI CAR RENTAL:
A 5/7 seater Ertiga/Innova MPV car with driver for rental service is available, charges are Rs. 1800 for upto 8 hours & upto 80 Kms, additional kms are Rs. 13 per Km as per T&CA. Airport/Railways Station pick up/drop off can be arranged.
>> GUEST VEHICLE(s) & VILLA PARKING:
Kindly note that parking of guests vehicles (cars or bikes) inside the Villa premises will be on a extra chargeable basis of Rs. 500/- per car/vehicle per day. Parking of guests vehicle(s) will be solely subject to parking space availability in Villa premises & as per our T&C. Guests are kindly requested to NOT straightaway park their vehicle in the Villa premises withour our advance confirmation & prior approval. Free on Street parking for >10 cars is available outside our Villa gate within society walls with security.

We are conveniently located in Village Lapkaman, just off Ognaj Circle on Sardar Patel Ring Road. We are close to Science City Circle & a few minutes away ( 5 kms ) from S.G Road & Vaishnodevi Circle. We are approx 15 Kms / <22 minutes from the International airport, 18 Kms to Ahmedabad Kalupur Railway Station, <5 kms to S.G Road , 14 kms to C.G Road & around 18 kms to the old walled city centre. Science City/S.G Road, the Adalaj step wells is close by, so is Gandhinagar, Nirma University, Adani Shantigram, CIIMS / KD Hospital & the new Infocity.
