费尔法克斯 · 整套出租单元 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Cozy One Bedroom Apt in Downtown Fairfax
Small one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with parking. Queen size bed, comfortable sofa bed, smart TV, wifi, good size kitchen. Keyless entry. Ideal for 2, but can sleep 4. The apartment is at the back of the main building, next to the parking lot, with one assigned spot per unit. There might be noise from businesses, garbage trucks, live music, and pedestrians enjoying the night on a commercial street behind restaurants and stores. Please be aware that during very hot weather, the window AC units may not be sufficient for some guests, and during very cold weather, the living room wall heater may not fully warm the entire unit despite portable heaters being available for limited use. The concurrent use of multiple electric appliances may trip the breaker. The breaker is located outside the unit for safety reasons and is not accessible to guests. To enhance your sleep experience, bedroom windows have blinds and black-out curtains. Explore the town's offerings, from galleries to small shops and diverse eateries, including gourmet coffee, organic ice cream, California cuisine, and ethnic restaurants. The nearby Deer Park Villa serves as a wedding venue, just 0.7 miles away. Fairfax enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with delightful dry, warm, and sunny days followed by cooler nights. Nestled amidst open space and a nature preserve, Fairfax offers abundant opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring scenic trails and serene lakes. Conveniently, it's only a 40-minute drive to San Francisco in the south or the picturesque Pt. Reyes National Seashore in the west.
Fatima's place was clean and as described. Fatima was quick and responsive to my questions prior to and during the trip, and permitted us a late checkout with some pre-coordination. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable, next to all the restaurants and shops. The kitchen is stocked with some pots/pans and cooking utensils and a modern refrigerator with plastic ice trays. There's also a nice patio in the back. As described (thus it was not a surprise), there is some general industrial noise in the early morning, starting around 6:00am, from the restaurant on the main street, and the bedroom window is facing that way. I'm a lighter sleeper, so noise does bother me in the morning, but some ear plugs did the trick. The noise generally ended around 8:00am. Overall, this is a wonderful spot to stay for the weekend, in a great location - I'd stay here again!
Great location with access to many trails and beautiful scenery. Easy access to many different areas in Marin County!
Great location. During our week long stay, we were able to visit San Rafael, Napa, Sonoma, Mill Valley and Fairfax. From the place, we were able to walk, dine, and enjoy the town (when we didn't cook at home).
Fatima’s place was exactly what we expected for the price. The downtown location was great for walkable dining, cocktails and local shops. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean upon our arrival. No real outdoor charm, but we knew that going in. All in all, the apartment was comfortable and functional. Great value for the money.
This property is ideally located in the lively heart of downtown Fairfax, surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes, a natural grocery store, supermarkets, convenience stores, tattoo shops, a movie theater, live music venues, a farmer's market, a gas station, and even a museum. The area exudes a bohemian, laid-back vibe, vibrant storefronts, diverse boutiques, and an eclectic culinary scene. It's a community-oriented, pedestrian-friendly, and vibrant place to be. However, it's essential to note that being on a significant local commercial artery may not be ideal for some seeking silence.
