The Gite is in the beautiful countryside in a little village called Lisquilly, just outside the town of Mur De Bretagne, Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany. West of Mûr-de-Bretagne is the Lac de Guerlédan, Brittany’s largest lake. Not only is this the perfect place for relaxing or enjoying the beauty of the lake near by, offering extensive trails for walking & cycling & of course boating. We are near the Quénécan forest & Abbaye de Bon Repos, Pontivy, Josselin Medieval Castle & many lovely Restaurants. The Gite is an annex of a typically breton farmhouse with a lovely garden to walk around. We also have an orchard and many fruit trees for you to enjoy while on your stay. You will find a self contained Gite which is fully equipped with a Kitchen , Gas Bottle Hob , Microwave/ Oven, Washing Machine, Fridge Freezer, Kettle & Toaster. Pots / Pans and Cutlery. Ceiling speakers in the lounge to bluetooth your music through. So settle down by the wood burner and a glass of wine and relax in our comfy sofa and armchairs. We provide plenty of plug adapters, hairdryers, iron and ironing board. Linen, Towels , Kitchen towels are all provided by us. We do ask if bedlinen could be stripped from beds on departure and bagged for cleaning. A Wood burning Stove with Wood for the cold winter months and electric heating if needed. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Note to families : To make your trip more relaxing and enjoyable for yourselves we would like to be honest with you and say, for safety reasons we would prefer not to host families with young children. The staircase to the 1st floor bedrooms is steep. The property isn't gated and is near to the D767 road which can be at times busy. However if you still would like to book our beautiful gite we are happy to accept your booking under these conditions.

Originalt Bretagne hus, meget flot renoveret. Der er meget larm fra vejen som løber langs huset. Caroline er god til at svare på spørgsmål.
La maison est sympathique. mais les extérieurs ne sont pas aménagés. La maison est humide. Le plus gros soucis est la route à proximité de la maison qui est extrêmement passante de jour comme de nuit. Absence de volets dans les chambres participe à rendre le séjour désagréable.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Caroline. Le gîte est particulièrement bien restauré, sobrement décoré et plutôt bien équipé, ce qui participe indéniablement à son charme. Ce séjour au calme nous aura permis de bien nous reposer et de nous servir de base de départ pour toutes nos ballades et activités.

There is a new pub Le Black Dog Pub Saint Aignan and lovely beaches in Caurel all about 10 minutes away from the Gite.
The Guerlédan Lake has many little manmade beaches were you can go swimming, various water sports and also the option to go fishing and hiring a bicycle for the day. Through the summer months the Guerledan Parc Adventure have just opened for the first time this year.
For more historic things, there is Bon Repas.
The story of Bon-Repos Abbey is a great one! Founded in the 12th century, it became prosperous before slowly falling into ruins. It was restored by a group of enthusiasts and now hosts contemporary art exhibitions.
All this is within a few miles from the Gite.

Swimming, fishing and watersports at the lake which is a few miles from the Gite.
Alternatively North and South coast of Brittany can be reached within and hour by car if you want a day out. There many historic sites, Medieval Castles, towns and markets to visit too ..
