Absolutely lovely home and experience. Our family stayed here the week before Christmas. Christoph greeted us and shared a wealth of incredible recommendations of places to visit and eat (they were all spectacular!). It was a great jumping off point to the Christmas markets and there are some lovely farm shops in the area. We loved exploring during the day and having a fabulous, comfortable place to return to in the evenings. The area is very quiet, peaceful, and lovely. You definitely need a car to make the visit, but there is a good market and bakery a 5 minute walk from the house with all the essentials. We will definitely return and looking forward to coming back in the spring or summer!

We loved Christoph's place in Colmberg - what a beautiful, cozy home. It was clean and quiet - and we loved using the massive stone furnace (the centerpiece of the living room, for sure). We would absolutely stay at Christoph's place in Colmberg again - it was a great place to use as a jumping off point en route to Rothenberg, Würzburg, Dinkelsbühl, Ansbach, etc. We also sincerely appreciated all of Christoph's recommendations. He is a really attentive and gracious host!

What a wonderful house in a beautiful location. The home was clean and quiet (except for the lovely church bells we enjoyed). We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine before dinner on days we didn't eat out. Christoph was very helpful and gave us information on local places to visit and restaurants. Check-in is not by keypad, so you can't arrive without the owner meeting you there.

bonjour, Belle maison dans un environnement très calme, voisinage sympa. Maison à proximité d'un supermarché et de nombreux restaurants. Petite balade possible aux alentours, jusqu'au château de Colmberg par exemple. Merci à Christoph pour son accueil fort sympathique.

This is such a beautiful house - every bit as lovely as the photos. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and the house is full of little surprises, extra rooms and balconies - we loved it. It is all very tasteful and charming. Christoph was so helpful with advice on places to visit and we followed his advice for places to eat.
