So you get what you pay for. My wife and I have stayed In hostels and backpacked around the world. Dans place was a place to put our heads for the evenings. We didn’t spend much time. I understand that it’s more of a hostel than your own airbnb, so I can be too judgmental. When we went to take a shower the last woman had left her hair on the window sill (my wife does this at home too!). Wasn’t the end of the world. But kind of gross. After sleeping the first night we made the bed and saw a stain (looked to be old. Probably washed and dried) but looked like a blood stain at the feet of the sheets. Didn’t bother us enough to complain, but if you’re going to use white sheets, make sure you fully bleach them. Otherwise get black. They don’t show stains! So that was a bit gross. As mentioned, we have stayed all over the world in many places. Would I stay here again for the price. Yeah I probably would. Didn’t know Dan and his family live here also. Very inviting guy. Place had lots of charm

A very nice and calm stay during the holidays! The room was clean and the space had all we needed for the night. I would stay here again!
