This is one of those properties that makes you feel right at home. Beautifully decorated, each furnishing, decor piece and upholistery complimenting each other. The bedsheets were a pristine perfection. Kitchen is well equipped with ammenities and cutlery plus the upstairs living room is super warm and cozy. A special shoutout to the two friendliest and cutest dogs! Had a wonderfull time here, will definitely come back.

We had a delightful overnight stay at Primrose Cottage. The accommodation was fresh, immaculate and interesting, with two bedrooms on the main floor and a living area above accessed via a spiral staircase. Margaret kindly accommodated our last minute request and late arrival. The next day we were able to tour the western part of Hadrian's Wall which is close by. Thank you Margaret. We'll be back!

Margaret’s place is in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. One has to have their own vehicle to get there conveniently. There is a secure parking area on the premises. I had a very good night sleep after a long day’s drive. The bed was comfortable, linen were crispy clean and the cottage had everything that was needed. Kitchen was fully equipped and it was kind of Margaret/Jackie to leave us some milk to make tea/coffee. Jackie was very helpful and asked us to look for him if we needed anything. We were there only for one night but will recommend Margaret’s place for anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful countryside.

had a lovely stopover here on our drive from Scotland back to Nottingham. views were beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was great!
