Had a fantastic time at Aceso Villa, it was our first holiday as a family and we took our little boy who is 11months old - they provided a cot and high chair which was v helpful, and the village of margarites is only a brief 5/10min walk which was perfect as there are multiple tavernas to visit. The company who host the villa were responsive and helpful via air bnb, and then when you arrive you have a local host who meets you. She (Eirini) was lovely and very accommodating. The villa itself is beautiful, particularly the outside space which is massive and has two huge pools overlooking the stunning countryside. We had one heated which does cost a fair bit extra so worth bearing in mind if you plan to do so, however it was definitely worth it for us as it meant we used it everyday Would recommend to anyone thinking of going to Crete, you won’t be disappointed

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dieser tollen Unterkunft! Es war alles wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich und beschrieben. Besonders die Außenanlage ist toll und lässt nichts vermissen. Es gibt unzählige Liegemöglichkeiten und genügend Schattenplätze. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den angebotenen Service. Alle waren mehr als zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir konnten einen frühen Checkin machen und wurden mit frischem Obst, Wein und einem landestypischen Essen begrüßt. Während des Aufenthalts wurde das Haus alle 3 Tage gesäubert und es gab neue Handtücher. Einen solchen Service kenne ich sonst nur aus dem Hotel. Zum Abschluss gab es sogar ein kleines Geschenk. Dies war wirklich außergewöhnlich und ich kann einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen! Was man in jedem Fall benötigt ist ein Mietwagen. Fußläufig erreichbar ist der Ort Margarites, in dem es auch einige nette Tavernen gibt.

The accommodation is fantastic. On site, it is even more impressive than at the pictures. The west orientation of the property allows for wonderful sunsets in the evenings. You wont miss anything in this Airbnb. The pool heater is always recommended, this had a decent effect compared to the unheated pool. The neighboring houses seemed uninhabited, or not yet built. Overall, the accommodation was very private. The service of the host was almost too obliging for me personally, suggestions were made about rental cars etc., the host takes care of almost everything if necessary. I personally don't need that, but im sure a lot of people like that - so still 5 stars for the effort. The small village within walking distance is ideal for going out to eat. We stayed from 16.10.-23.10 and still had up to 29 degrees. One of the most impressive Airbnbs we stayed yet. If this is in your narrower selection, go for it - you wont be disappointed!:)
