What a perfect place to stay in Whitby! Last minute booking so we were so lucky. House is fantastic location for pub next door, shops, restaurants, walking and the beach. Simply couldn’t fault it. Charlotte was the best air BnB host I’ve ever had - the attention to detail in the house was perfect. We cooked at the house every morning and one evening… it was like being in my own kitchen!

We have had a lovely family stay - 3 generations - in a very comfortable, clean and well appointed cottage, situated in a quiet location but only 5 minutes from Whitby harbour. Charlotte is a brilliant host, responding quickly to any queries we had. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely look at a return visit.

3 couples enjoyed a lovely weekend in Charlotte’s cottage. It was so homely, spotlessly clean and Charlotte was available if needed. Easily accessible to the beach, shops and the old town. At the end of the road there is a bakers for fresh bread and croissants! It’s also close to the Whitby pavilion where we went to see a show. Charlotte has lovely taste in decor and the cottage is worthy of a visit. We will definitely be back! 😀 Thank you!

Farndale Cottage met all our expectations. It was very clean and cosy. The beds were very comfortable, and the bed linen was exceptional soft. The location was perfect for both the beach and shops, but in a very quiet side street. We managed to find a parking place close by. Charlotte deserves her 'Superhost' title as it describes her perfectly. She responds to every question and query very quickly. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended Farndale Cottage to family and friends.
