The Black Shack is such a peaceful retreat from everyday life! Watching the waves crash against the coastline from the warmth of the hottub was unforgettable. I’d recommend this cozy little spot to anyone.

The Black Shack was an absolute treat of a getaway. The private hot tub and wood stove were the main features that caught my eye but the entirety of the space is what will stay with me. We were in awe from the second we walked in the door to the moment we left. Not only is the exterior a total show stopper, but every room is perfectly decorated in a way that is simultaneously exciting and relaxing, and the Black Shack is well stocked with a variety of visual and tactile comforts to rotate through during your stay. Great cast irons, fantastic array of character filled drinking vessels, a small library of art filled books, stunning antiques, well collected art pieces and really enjoyable folk art were just a touch of what made our visit so special. Our host, Dorian, was responsive and friendly and we felt safe and cared for. The Black Shack is not to be missed! Plus, if you’re lucky like we were, you’ll be entertained by surfers while you luxuriate in the hot tub. What a time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The views were breathtaking, the cozy fireplace added warmth and charm, and the oceanfront location made for a truly serene experience. The hot tub was a delightful bonus, and we adored the small house layout and design! Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

The Black Shack was the perfect South Shore getaway for our anniversary. The location is ideal for hitting up the surrounding beaches, the sunrise across the road was impeccable, and the cabin itself was very clean and cozy. We hope to return in the summer or fall!
