Mirepoix is a lovely little town and it is very quiet. There is no air conditioning, but open windows and fans for each room made it quite pleasant and cars are not allowed on the street and restaurants close early. We were there for my daughter's wedding at Chateau la Commanderie nearby. We really enjoyed the large living space for sorting our decorations prior to the wedding. Another plus was the washing machine and a drying rack for our clothes and an iron for touch ups after unpacking. There were 2 hair dryers. A separate WC from the shower and vanity was nice for multiple people staying there. Shower pressure and water temp were perfect. I gave 4 stars because we had no communication about check-in although I had alerted the host of my arrival time. We had to wait over an hour. To get in the flat you must go through the outside door, down a short corridor, out to a small courtyard, up stairs and down another hall to the flat. Specific instructions are needed. I do recommend it!
