Our stay was nice overall. Place was clean and location was awesome. Place is a bit tricky if you are traveling with little kids because the stairs are a bit risky. Bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans. Entrance is only from the lower floor which was a bit hassle. Other than that place was very cool.

We had a great stay! The lake access was great for water activities and the covered part of the dock was a nice reprieve from the sun. Some of the pictures look dark, but we had plenty of natural light. The string lights around the fire pit were nice to have.

Pennys lake house was fantastic. From the amazing communication before/during and after, to the breath taking views from the porch or dock, or even the endless hot water as all showers were going at one point back to back and never ran out of hot water, her house was more than perfect! We will 100% be saving this house for future stays while in or around the Darlington area. I feel like 2 days wasnt enough time to get to fully enjoy all that this house had to offer us.
