First, Philippe and Séverine are extremely kind and helpful, stocked some items to make first night relaxing, and are very easy to reach by phone or AirBNB notes, and in fact live just in the house behind the rental one. They are calm and happy people, and enjoy helping others. The property is a whole house and even includes a game room with billiard table! It’s the former home of a parent, and is retro/cool decorated as a real home would be. It was clean. Kitchen was complete, even some stocked items such as coffee and snacks. There is a back yard between the two homes on the property. A large grocery is across the street. We found the beds comfortable and the bathroom with separate toilet room to be clean and functional. This property would be ideal in several situations: for a family with or without younger children, for one or two couples who would like to have a base outside of Paris or explore the surrounding countryside by car. It feels like home!

Philippe was a superb host. Very helpful, to the point of helping us with a lift to the station when we couldn't book a taxi. The accommodation was as seen in the image, simple and practical, but perfect for our business in the local area. I would highly recommend staying with Philippe if you need a place to get your head down in a base to explore the local area.
