This secluded and modernized - 3 Bedroom, 2 full Bath farmhouse has 6 acres within the Monongahela National Forest. across our field you will find our 1/4 mile of pristine river frontage along the Dry Fork River, which feeds the Cheat River. With a wonderful swimming hole and trout fishing right on the property. There is a covered porch to enjoy the view and a large stone fire pit to hang out at night and enjoy the Milky Way! Well behaved dogs allowed with 150 dollar fee Our Cabin is newly refurbished with a comfortable rustic theme. It has everything you need to relax in the country, It is cozy and comfortable with covered porch .and a large sitting room with 2 sofas and 2 comfortable chairs. Added Plus- No cell phone service- however there is really slow internet and wifi available if you need to keep in touch! There is a large sitting room with big windows and woodstove. 2 large sofas and lots of comfortable seating to sip coffee and read a book . There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with a king bed and the other bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs bedroom has a king bed and lots of sunlight. There are two full bathrooms, one with a old fashioned 6 foot clawfoot tub and the other with a new tiled shower. You can have a fire in the firepit nearby the house, or walk across our field to the banks of the Dry Fork River and swim or fish on our land

We have been in the market for property to purchase since 1st falling in love with the area during a ski trip this last winter. We absolutely LOVED this airbnb and wished we could find something just like it to call our own — super remote location just a short walk across a field to a beautiful river. 6 acres to enjoy to ourselves and our dogs was heavenly. Space was clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Covered porch was great to enjoy some reading during rainy days. Wood stove was fully stocked with wood and kept us cozy during the evenings. Hosts were very responsive. We definitely plan to return!
Five stars. Exactly as described and reviewed by others. Quiet, clean, secluded. Not too far away from the places we visited - hiking areas in Dolly Sods and Seneca rocks. BONUS, my son caught a beautiful rainbow trout right at the river bank. Will return for sure. Love this place.
Our second stay at the farmhouse and hopefully not the last! Thankful for the solitude, the beauty and the private river access!
This is the spot. Victoria has created a true home away from home. The house is charming, comfortable and private and the setting is idyllic. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. - and if you’re swayed by style this is the place to stay, lovely textiles and decorative details that contribute to a country home experience. The good fortune to wander to the river and take a dip was a delight and enjoyed by our family. The location is just right, secluded but minutes from the valley and truly not far from Davis/Thomas and all amenities they offer. Loved it and cannot wait to return.
We had a very lovely, comfortable, restorative stay at Victoria’s fairy tale cottage. The location is secluded, quiet, and private, yet is close enough to other properties glimpsed through the trees to not feel too isolated. We enjoyed walking through the field to visit the river and observing the wildlife. Watching the fireflies appear at dusk and the stars come out at night from the awesome porch was a highlight. The house is creatively designed and is even more beautiful and quite spacious in person with room to spread out and comfortable furniture and beds. An inspiring space for a peaceful retreat.
