Nestled at the base of majestic White Horse Mountain, enjoy watching eagles soar over the snow capped peaks in the winter while cozying up to a fire. Salmon spawn just 30 feet from the house in the winter months. Hike or bike the Whitehorse Trail between Arlington and Darrington along picturesque Stillaguamish River. Enjoy vegetables and berries from the garden. You may see wildlife. Feed the friendly cows. Beautiful waterfalls a short hike away. Just 71 miles from Seattle Home is set up for gatherings of up to 12 people, great for family gatherings and events, plenty of parking, could possibly do a small wedding here, have a 20'x40' outside canopy that could be used for an additional fee. Our private shooting range is available by appointment.

The Mountain View from the living room is amazing. The open layout of the house is welcoming and makes you feel right at home. This is a beautiful home to visit. Lots of space for boardgames and family fun. We loved interacting with the cows. Randolph and Cathy are very welcoming and friendly.
Randolphand Cathy are a lovely couple and they made sure we got settled in ok. They asked if we needed anything take our stay more pleasant. They started a fire for us in the wood stove since we were coming in later than expected. The kitchen was well stocked for a group of people. We had 8 adults in our group and there was plenty of space for us to be together if we wanted to be and to break off into separate spaces if we needed a quiet time to ourselves. The view is breathtaking and would be perfect for a group retreat. Darrington (5 min away) has a great coffee shop (Moe's) with great food and service. We also tried River Time Brewing. They also have wonderful service and both places have gluten free foods which is rare for small towns. We will be back if we are ever in the area again. Thank you!
Randy’s beautiful home was a true gem. The view of white horse mountain out the stunning vaulted windows never got old, especially with all the bird activity we saw whenever we looked outside. Randy and Cathy were both wonderfully kind, accommodating hosts, the home was gorgeously arranged and decorated. We would love to visit again.
We wanted to have a place big enough for the whole family. This place was perfect for our group. We had 11 of us. The house was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen except maybe some large bowls for big group servings. The scenery was gorgeous watching the eagles was spectacular. They would sit in the tree and wait for the salmon to come by in the creek, all right there on the property. Thank you Randy and Cathy. We had a great time.
We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving in such a beautiful place. The home was great, and the view was amazing! So happy we chose this place.

Darrington, population 1400, has a burger barn, a Mexican restaurant, a grocery store and a gas station. Lots of nearby trails for hiking, mountain bike trails on North Mt, Steelhead fishing on the Stillaguamish, hunting, Rhodes River Ranch restaurant is 15 minutes away. We are a rural community. You will need a car. There is a community transit route 230 that runs twice a day between Smokey Point and Darrington and takes about a hour.
