What a fabulous B&B! It’s on a quiet street right near town with a gorgeous little courtyard and well stocked reception area. I didn’t meet Joel but his welcome instructions were so helpful and there was tea cake and a snack/breakfast bar in the lobby. Our room was spacious and comfortable and while there are a number of rooms in the place I barely heard or saw anyone else so it was very peaceful. Would absolutely come again!

The room was really lovely: comfortable and very stylish. Joel was very responsive and accommodating when we had an issue. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The serve- yourself breakfast suited us very well. The provisions were excellent.

We booked as a last-minute one night stay and loved the suite we were in. Comfortable, clean, quiet and accesible on foot to Blackheath town centre. The shared lobby / kitchen was easy to use and had a wide range of breakfast and coffee options.

Lovely old heritage cottage type building with beautiful flower garden out front (in spring). The room was gorgeous, loved the antique furniture and paintings, the bathroom was modern and clean, bed and couch comfortable, liked the small kitchen amenities in the room also, tv worked great. Right next to the courtyard and the other kitchenette for morning tea and newspaper. Short walk to Blackheath. Joel and other staff were friendly. Really nice place

Our stay at Rowan Brae, albeit for only one night, was the perfect spot to stop & stay, on our Blue Mountains road trip. Fabulous house with a gorgeous garden. Lots of history & a short walk to a good pub & good coffee. Thanks for hosting us Joel. Possibly the best bed ever !
