Gorgeous place and perfect for small children to have fun exploring in a safe environment. Comfortable beds and good kitchen. Could do with more comfortable chairs (there are only 2) - if we go again we'll take camping chairs with us to sit around the fire. All in all an absolutely beautiful spot!

An oasis of peace - and learning - in the beautiful Laikipia highlands. Staying in this unique eco-getaway is such a unique experience. The owners helped arrange a guide to lead the way into the property from the tarmac road so we didn’t get lost. We were greeted by a wonderful team of staff who lit a warm fire and many lanterns as we watched the sun set and the moon rise. At night the canopy of stars in this off-grid paradise was like nothing I’ve ever seen. The next day our host took us on an eye-opening tour of the many permaculture design projects underway on the land. We were impressed by the emphasis on regenerative agriculture / agroforestry and wildlife conservation. We followed in the footsteps of elephants on our walk and afterward relaxed in amazing outdoor bath tubs and cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. This place is like no place else and we’ll worth the trip to get there.
