We had a wonderful week at North Barn. It was perfect for our big family with loads of space for children and baby to explore and play safely, and a beautiful walled garden. The kitchen has all you need and more, there are loads of games, the Barn is filled with beautiful furniture, and despite being very open-plan the heating worked brilliantly and kept us all cosy. Susanna was so helpful and friendly ahead of our visit too. Highly recommend! Thanks! (PS don't go to Durdle Door unless you want to be in a crowd of thousands, go to Arne nature reserve instead!)

A lovely large thatched house big enough for a large family or a combined get together. It’s peaceful with beautiful surroundings. It has easy access to major roads to the coast and beyond. Kitchen is well equipped.

A lot of cobwebs everywhere especially the rafters. A once a month specific clean of the cobwebs would help keep the property in good condition. A hoover with extension poles is all that's needed. I appreciate it's a rural barn but even so. Also cocoons on rafters. most of the rafters have woodworm, the woodworm rot on the rafter braces are bad. I noticed dust on the bed directly under a rafter. If these rafter braces are structural supports then they all need to be replaced. The mattresses are very old as they are lumpy, springy and uncomfortable. All the mattresses need replacing, probably 5 years ago! The property itself is generally nice but again some furniture could have been cleaner. the Kitchen dresser has a lot of woodworm rot and bits are crumbling. The host was helpful but needs to inspect the property regularly to ensure the cleaners are maintaining the property properly. Difficult to find the property, a G00gle location or a Waze link wood be good.

We had such a lovely stay at North Barn. It is well equipped and absolutely beautiful. The walled garden is very peaceful and great for children. It’s a home away from home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend .
