Dass die „Cretan Nature Villa Alexandra“ ruhig, abgelegen und von Natur umgeben sein würde hatten wir erwartet. Das war dann auch der Fall: Die Villa ist umgeben von Olivenbäumen auf der einen Seite und dem Berghang auf der anderen. Sie verfügt über einen schönen Garten, inklusive einem Gemüsegarten mit frischen Cherry-Tomaten, Zitronen etc. Nicht erwartet hatten wir, dass die Villa alle Annehmlichkeiten moderner Technik bietet, wie z.B. ein Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelspender. Geradezu umwerfend war die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter: Als wir spät am Abend ankamen, stand sogar ein Abendessen auf dem Tisch! Wir haben Idomeneas und Alexandra dann auch persönlich kennengelernt. Sie sind äusserst herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen.

Well…. This was without doubt the most beautiful villa and surroundings I’ve encountered through air BnB The hosts were the most hospitable people you could wish to encounter, regularly dropping off delicious home cooked food throughout our stay, courtesy of Alexandra The villa itself is stunning, inside and out. The effort in presentation is impeccable and impressive. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is stunning and more well stocked than most people’s houses and the welcome pack was a really pleasant touch Nothing was too much trouble, even though I broke a door handle after my youngest child locked herself in one of the bedrooms You couldn’t wish to meet nicer people, who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible And the views!! The views!! If you enjoy nature then this is the place for you. It’s gorgeous, tranquil and the perfect antidote to city life. And so reasonably priced, do yourself a favour, book here 100 characters doesn’t do it justice.

Loved loved loved this place! I stayed here with my husband and two teenage daughters and had the most relaxing week. Excellent value and I highly recommend. Location - the villa is completely private and in a rural setting. (There is a shop in the nearest village which is 5 minutes drive. Zaros is a 15 minute drive with few tavernas and small shops). We visited Kommos beach, about 40 minutes drive away but mainly stayed put. It was blissful to be surrounded by nature with only the hum of the cicadas and the bells of the goats roaming the hillside. Fresh tomatoes from the garden. Villa - wow! Not huge but very luxurious. We particularly appreciated the black-out shutters, excellent air-con and the fridge that dispenses chilled water and ice- fabulous! We loved lounging by the pool all day. But the real highlight was Alexandra’s home cooked food. The most thoughtful and generous hosts I have ever encountered. A truly magical stay and we all wish we were still there.

Beautiful villa with very attentive hosts. Views of the mountains are lovely, especially as the sun goes down. Very tranquil & lovely at night watching the stars. Bees are friendly unless you step on them. They left us tons of supplies and lots of cultural food .
