My teen daughter and I booked the Alpine cabin for a quick girl's night and we decided to take our dogs. We have not tried that before. Our lab is 13 and our husky is 4. They had a blast exploring Ash Cave and then basically crashed at the cabin. Everything was as described. The living room was so cozy and comfortable, the hot tub was easy to use and the bedrooms were also comfy. We even managed to build ourselves a fire and make some SMores. Having my morning coffee on the deck swing was icing on the cake. One drawback for some may be hearing traffic noise. The fact that we weren't SO far into the hills with zero service was actually a selling point for me. We would recommend this place and stay here again.

Dannie is a great host! She was very responsive . The wood burning fireplace was wonderful! The hot tub was great, but not as private as it appeared from the photos. Still very relaxing once you were soaking! The cabin was really nice and comfortable! We would return !

February 26-29 I was concerned about my check in time because we unfortunately had my Uncles services to go to that day. Dannie was very responsive and there wasn’t a single problem with my check in. We had a wonderful time and it was a getaway my Husband and I so desperately needed. My favorite part was of course the wood burning fireplace, so nice to have going while cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. It was also very nice to be able to wash and dry our clothes the night before we came home in the washer and dryer there and not have to deal with it once home. I will say though, this Chalet is pet friendly and there were several dog feces outside, one I stepped in and wasn’t too happy about that. After which I knew to watch my step because clearly someone had been there recently with a dog and didn’t clean up after it. Other than that, it was absolutely wonderful. Very nice having the propane grill too because we spent one night at the Chalet and made supper there.

This cabin was perfect for our mini vacation! Beautiful private location but close to necessities. The cabin was warm and cozy…perfect for a winter getaway. The full sized kitchen, wood burning fireplace and hot tub were exactly what we needed to really relax. We will certainly be back!
