Our latest addition to our Airbnb collection, is our own Athens family home, located on the main street of the vibrant Kolonaki neighbourhood. It is a spacious (185 sqm) and luminous penthouse, ideal for families or groups of friends. We are very excited about the latest addition to our Airbnb collection. It is our own Athens family home, which is a spacious (185 sqm) and luminous penthouse, located on the main street of Kolonaki. We have lived in this apartment for almost 30 years, so it is a very special place for our family. Nowadays we live almost year- round in Santorini, and are very happy to have the chance to share our apartment with guests from all over the world. The penthouse is well appointed with great taste and has a lot of natural sunlight which creates a warm ambiance. It consists of two living rooms, a dining area and an open plan kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen, gives the opportunity to guests, to prepare their own meals. The kitchen also features a Nespresso machine. Furthermore, the apartment offers 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features a double bed and a single bed. The third bedroom features a double bed. Lastly, the apartment offers a second full bathroom and a laundry area.

Great flat with flair - one of the best airbnb places we have been staying at! Incredible friendly host who takes well care of the flat and the guests.
My family and I found the place to be exactly as pictured and a great home base for exploring Athens. There is lots of living space and it’s stocked with everything you need. The location is close to lots of delicious restaurants and sights. We really enjoyed our stay.
Our group of 6 was very comfortable in this spacious apartment. Close to a metro station which was convenient for getting to and from the airport. Plenty of restaurants and cafes were walkable. Many main tourist attractions were walkable as well (within 20 minutes). Great find, and would recommend to a group wanting to stay together!
Excellent stay. The host was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was perfect. Great location, lots of room and great amenities. We had the best time and would highly recommend. Located walking distance from great restaurants and tourist sites such as the Acropolis, Olympic stadium etc.

Kolonaki is one of the nicest and most vibrant neighbourhoods of Athens. Its location is ideal for exploring Athens, either on foot or by Metro. Fashion boutiques, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, the National Gallery of Art, the National Park, the Presidential Residence (ex Royal Palace), the Parliament, and the Panathenaic Stadium are all in close proximity to the penthouse.
Furthermore the Athens Hilton Hotel is very close to the penthouse and offers the town's largest and nicest swimming pool open to the public (paying access).
The penthouse is located very close to the metro station 'Evangelismos' which has a direct metro line from the airport. The airport bus X95 (Direction Syntagma) also stops at 'Evangelismos'. The Acropolis and its new museum are at a 20 minute walk from the house or 2 metro stops away. The famous neighbourhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki and Psiri are also easily accessible either by metro or on foot. In addition, you can catch a bus and explore the beaches of the 60 km Athens riviera or even go further south and visit the impressive cape Sounion where lie the remains of the famous temple of Poseidon, god of the sea.
If you have a car the closest parking place is 'Polis Park', which is a 5 minute walk away (15€ per day).

I am from Athens, however I have very close ties with two beautiful Greek islands Santorini and Patmos. As my father’s family is from Santorini I spent all my summers there. Since I am a licensed tour guide, in 2004 I decided to move to Santorini in order to work there. This was a great chance to start renovating my family’s properties in order to be able to share them with people from all over the world. In addition, many years ago, my mother visited the island of Patmos, fell in love with it and decided to buy two beautiful pieces of land, including very old farmhouses in ruinous condition, that she slowly renovated. In this way, our family and numerous friends enjoyed many unforgettable Patmos Easters and summers. Nowadays, I am responsible for the good condition of the houses that I rent out and share the beauty and special ambiance of this island with our guests. I am very lucky since my twin daughters, Alexandra and Christina, having completed their studies abroad in hospitality management and tourism, returned to their roots in order to continue and develop what I started. Genuine hospitality, love and respect for the island, as well as the embracement of the local culture define our core values. Nowadays we all share our time between Santorini, Patmos and Athens, and have the honor and pleasure to share our family’s story and our love for these islands, with visitors from all over the world. After many years in the hospitality industry, today I have the pleasure along with my daughters to embrace one more much loved island home, my husband's summer house on the island of Hydra. The house was built by my father in law 40 years ago. My husband Dimitris will be managing the house in Hydra.
