We had a good short stay and easy check in process. Except this would have been a better experience. Before check in I had received a message from the Airbnb host to notify when I arrive if the house was clean and in good condition as they advised “cleanliness to be more valuable to them”. However, this was not the case we noticed a broken part of the couch immediately as we walked in, there was a smell and the floors were dusty, visible crumbles, and we also found someone’s broken nail. This can be very unhygienic also caused allergy reactions. I informed the host right away with proof and I requested for them to get someone to come back and clean as everyone is paying a cleaning fee for exactly this reason. That was not done but ended up receiving unnecessary messages that were clearly automated and of no help. Side note: If you book this Airbnb and are driving to Montreal , I would recommend using this app called parky.ai It was a great help for us to understand the parking rules

Great stay, Strawberry Stays is very communicative. Check-in was easy. Big mirror in the picture of living room was missing and floor could've been more clean as my white socks became less and less white. Window are hard to open but it's missing screens and had nothing to prevent bugs or orther animals to come in. They were also not the cleanest. Great place in general though, very close to convenience stores, pharmacy, restaurants and walkable from/to metro Joliette. Would definitely come back!
