Lucy's place was plenty big enough for our family get together. Large open plan kitchen diner/lounge, 4 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms

We stayed at Lucy and Jago's place between the 7th and 11th of September 2023. Pros: 1) Easy to find location, great for travelling (driving) into windsor and west london. 2) The place is spacious and is accommodating of a family of 5 - which we were. 3) Lots of windows/large window doors; which are great for light 4) Situated in a quiet cul de sac with sufficient parking Cons: 1) The place was unfortunately not cleaned to any reasonable standard whatsoever with dirt/crumbs evident, plus clothing (presumably from previous guests) left behind; behind the sofa in the living area plus in chest of drawers in one bedroom upstairs. HOWEVER*** As soon as we spoke to the hosts about this they offered to refund us the cleaning fee immediately. I mentioned my preference for the house to be cleaned instead; and to my relief - 2 cleaners turned up to the property within 30 mins of the phone call and cleaned the house as per our direction. So thank you for this.

This property is close to Burnham Station which is on the Elizabeth Line to Central London, Legoland and the motorway. It’s on a quiet cul de sac, we weren’t bothered by airplanes, traffic or train noise. It has potential to be a great property for families. Unfortunately it was not properly clean when we arrived, for example there was a brown mark on the toilet seat that came off easily with an antibacterial wipe, and at the side of the bed we found an object wrapped in a tissue. We complained to Lucy and she quickly responded and said that she would send the cleaners back the next day. She also came round with new pillows and pillowcases because we had told her that the ones on the beds were stained. She gave us some champagne by way of apology. By this time we had cleaned up. Lucy explained that her usual cleaners were away. There is damage to the walls in several places that the owners have not had time to fix yet. Our fun was spoiled but not ruined.
