Quaint home in a quiet neighborhood centrally located with close proximity to Abilene Christian University, Hardin Simmons University and Dyess AFB. It’s also a quick trip to some of Abilene’s popular sites including the Abilene Zoo, The Grace Museum, The National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature, the Abilene Mall and the many great restaurants and bars in Abilene. This is a great alternative to staying in a motel or hotel. For less money, you can have an entire house to yourself! Inside you will find three large screen TVs with internet and access to Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu. Two queen size beds and a/c and heat on each room.

felt at home . was missing a few things like baking sheets and basic cleaning supplies. but other then that . they communicated amazingly, it was quite and easy to find .

Abilene was founded in 1881 as the new railhead for the overland Texas cattle drives. It's name in Hebrew means "grassy plain." A military town, the Dyess Air Force Base lies just southwest. Abilene is also the site of Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene Christian University and McMurry University. The West Texas Fair, rodeos and livestock shows are annual events. The Grace Museum is a local landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places and comprises an art museum, a historical museum and a children's museum. Old Abilene Town (northeast) is a reconstructed Texas frontier town. Abilene is also known as the Storybook Capital of America; the city is home to the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature, the Storybook Sculpture Project and the annual Children's Art + Literacy Festival in June.
