We stayed here for a long weekend with another family and we all had the best time- we couldn't have asked for anything else. Pauline was an incredible host with great recommendations, very responsive and had instructions on everything in the home which was very helpful. The house was prefect- It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for out two families with young kids. We LOVED The Owl house and will definitely be going back. It's the perfect house to have a great weekend with friends or just with your family!
We had an amazing stay at the Owl House. The house was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, spacious and ideally located for what we were looking for. It’s very family friendly, with a crib, ping pong table, pool table, and lots of games and toys in the basement for the kids to play with. It’s 15 minutes from Bellayre mountain, where we skied every day. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the outdoor space was beautiful as well. Pauline did a great job of explaining everything and offering suggestions both before and during the trip. The house is also very user friendly - there are lots of notes around the house explaining how things work, etc that were super helpful. We had no issues and would definitely stay there again!
This was our third time enjoying the Owl House, and we will be back again for sure! It’s so wonderfully clean, spacious, cozy and well appointed. We especially appreciated Pauline allowing to have a late check-out due to the winter storm that hit on Sunday into Monday morning. A wonderful place to stay while enjoying the Catskills.
Seven of us stayed in The Owl House for the New Year. Communication with the host was easy, and the house was cozy with beautiful wood beams, nature surroundings, and a soapstone fireplace. Each day we drove for hikes (Kaaterskill Falls and Mountain Top Arboretum near Tannersville, Palmer Hill Trail near Andes, etc) and stopped for groceries (including organic) in Margaretville at Freshtown and the adorable local spot Home Goods. A lovely stay.
This was our second time at Owl House but only the word “Perfect “ describes our stay and it’s so great and nice to have Pauline as our host, since she is so kind, nice and responsible for everything. If we have a chance, we will definitely want to go back again. Thank you Pauline for having us !!!!

We have travelled far and wide and if you are looking at our listing, we are excited to welcome you to our beautiful mountain home. It is super comfortable and private. With large outdoor living spaces our perfect deck overlooks the pond and the mountains.
