Paul was a phenomenal host. He was able to accommodate my last-minute reservation and even had the cottage available for early check-in. His communication was stellar, including checking in during the stay to make sure everything was going well. The pictures of the cottage are what drew me to it in the first place, and they don't even do the place justice. It is cozy with plenty of light and lots of space to work, sit, or eat. The air conditioner works great in the Louisiana heat, and it's on a nice piece of property. I loved the huge shower. There's a washer and dryer, plenty of dishes, and other nice amenities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. This place is SO cute, much bigger than expected, one of the cleanest places I've stayed at, and was serene. If you want a rural getaway this is your place! Make sure to take advantage of the hammock hooks on the porch and watch the stars! It was amazing!

This place is exactly as advertised. Quiet country setting! Horses next door, pond with frogs and turtles and fish! The bed is super comfy, kitchen is well stocked, bathroom has plenty of hot water and towels and is stocked with basic supplies. Cute screened in porch with hammock. Extra blankets. Paul and Paula are quick to respond, very knowledgeable about the area and very willing to help with anything and everything I needed. Would definitely stay again

We absolutely loved our weekend at Paul's & Paula's cottage! They were so very welcoming, and the cottage is absolutely adorable, so perfect in every way. It's spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfortable, and we had every amenity we could've possibly wanted. We definitely want to return to spend more time there.
