Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The views out the windows and from the porch are just jaw-dropping. The location on the east side of hardangerfjord and close to Trolltunga is pretty perfect and it was easy to find the place and enter at our leisure. There is a slight hill up to the house but nothing challenging. The place itself is quirky and comfortable and you get a genuine homely feel for a classic norwegian house. Its however by the road which bothered me in the master bedroom as an extremely light sleeper with the 7am weekday "traffic" waking me up regularly but my partner didn't notice it at all so your mileage may vary. The kitchen is kitted out with pretty much everything you might need including a spice rack and a sizable freezer. We didn't try the jacuzzi in the bathroom or the rowboat but I'm sure they would have been excellent experiences.

Gorgeous location! The place was exactly as expected and just what we needed, close to surrounding towns and beautiful hikes. A beautiful drive around the fjords as well!

Convenient location near hiking at Trolltunga and Folgefonna National Park, as well as grocery shopping in Odda. There were several fruit stands along the drive with farmers selling apples, plums, and apple juice. The hosts were helpful and communicative, and even left us some tasty treats for our stay! We had lovely views of the fjord and the glacier from the cabin. Something to note - the driveway is short and steep with less than a foot of clearance from our car on each side. The rear view mirrors were within inches of the fence at a couple of spots. We found it easier to park at the bottom and walk up the driveway instead.
