Tobias, Nastia and the rest of team were superb! Friendly at all times, responding to all enquiries, including those made out of hours... Will certainly miss these 4 lovely days spent at Tobias' place...already doing so... Many Thanks for having us!

We loved our stay at Esther’s Guesthouse. The bed was extremely comfortable, the views and location is spectacular, and the bathroom & shower plumbing/etc was outstanding. The “honeymoon room” was truly perfect for my new spouse and I. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the clean & tidy shared kitchen, as well as eating breakfast (just 16 CHF each). Tobias and his team even did our laundry for us (for 20 CHF). Our only problem was at check-in: check-in is listed as with “building staff” on the Airbnb listing, but it is actually a very easy self-check in; we just did not not notice the welcome sign at the front door telling us our room number. Gimmelwald was an adorable village to spend a few nights in!

Just wow.. Esther’s Guesthouse was a true dream. Gorgeous doesn’t even cover the true beauty. Tobias and Franciska were kind, friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing time and did NOT want to leave. They put in a lot of hard work to make such a nice and peaceful place. Thank you both so much ❤️❤️❤️

Gimmelwald is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The picturesque quiet mountain village set between peaks of the alps is reachable only by cable car and stays peaceful even in busy tourist times. The guest house is immaculate, check in is easy, and rooms are as pictured. Limited dining in gimmelwald but Murren the next cable car stop has plenty of options.
