Loved the house. However there is a large sand bar in 10 ft from the dock that runs down past the last dock from the lil island that should be noted so ppl dont hit it with their boats while staying there

Look no further! The Lazy Bass had everything we needed for our family vacation! Only a few steps away from the water, the house was clean and very spacious with beautiful views of the lake and equipped with everything we needed for our stay! We enjoyed our time canoeing, fishing, and taking in the views while swinging on the rocking bench swing on the dock. In the evenings we enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit together. The owners were so kind to reach out to us to see how our stay was going and if there was anything we needed. Trust me when I say we would stay here again! You will create cherished memories with your family/friends here just like we did!

I couldn’t wait to leave a review honestly. We went in march so it was very quiet and peaceful around us. I have a 2, 5, and 7 year old and a dog and it was so fun honestly. The fenced in yard is such a bonus and they have a lot of gates for extra safety. My kids are begging to go back already and tbh we can’t wait to. The house is truly so beautiful and so fun!! It really does make you feel right at home. I’d recommend this to anyone with or without kids because it literally would be amazing for either!

Me and a group of my college friends were looking for a nice place to stay sort of near roanoke. This place was AWESOME. That hot tub was fireee! (A good thing) We probably spent at least 8 hours in that hot tub thats how nice it was. It was right in front of a lake too! In the morning i drank some of their provided tea and coffee and just chilled on the balcony sipping and relaxing. Whenever we ran into problems the owner responded with clear instructions very quickly. If you’re looking for a nice affordable place this is the place to go! Thank you Blue Ridge Escapes!!
