I would like to clarify, I wasn’t expecting a 5 star resort stay when I booked this place. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience and would not recommend staying here. Before booking I did my research and saw not so good reviews but was hopeful with the other reviews that were good but sadly I have to say it was not enjoyable and after visiting other islands I regret not staying on one of them. The island had a lot of trash on it. I wouldn’t recommend swimming in the water. The facilities weren’t clean. The sheets smelled dirty and I can confirm the guests after us they didn’t change the sheets in between because I saw for myself. Both doors on the cabin were broken and floor boards on the dock were not nailed down. The bugs were by far the worst time even with 2 bottles of bug spray it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. The food was VERY basic and after eating on other islands I felt very ripped off. Right as we were about to leave they charged us $30 for 8 cans of Coke which was included but the insisted it wasn’t. Sadly I was hopeful for an amazing stay. The staff was friendly but didn’t provide a good experience. They played music very loud while they where cleaning at 3 am. We literally couldn’t sleep all night between the bugs and the workers. Overall I would recommend staying at another island for an unforgettable trip as I still do recommend visiting the island.

Adriham foi muito simpático e prestativo, nos ajudou a organizar o transfer e deu tudo certo! A cabana é um charme e o ambiente também, a comida da estadia foi um show a parte, o chef foi muito atencioso e caprichou nos pratos que estavam deliciosos. A ilha é muito bonita, mas falta um pouco de manutenção quanto ao lixo que chega lá pelo mar. Quanto a cabana, deixou a desejar um pouco no quesito limpeza, entramos no espaço e aparentemente os lençóis não haviam sido trocados e o lixo não tinha sido tirado. De todo modo, é uma experiência única, o passeio organizado pelo pessoal do transfer foi sensacional e as ilhas são espetaculares!

It is paradise. Loved our stay there. Two days have been perfect. hygienic standards are low on this island though.

It was our first time in San Blas. No doubt it’s a paradise on earth. The cabins are quite simple, nothing luxurious but they are just what you need to spend a couple of days of relax and enjoyment. We recommend to stay 1 or 2 nights max., and also to try to visit between December and March because of the weather. As the host indicates, it’s very important to bring sunblock, repellent and bottled water. The main cabin has solar panels so there’s electricity between 6pm - 6am. The shared bathrooms are outside. We want to thank again Adriham for organizing the logistics and Orlando for his hospitality during our visit.

Very basic and clean amenities, also the people were great friendly. Appreciated the mosquito nets, too! the island hopping tour was so great we did another one the next day. We learned a lot about the Guna Yala and their hosiery and culture. we will miss this beautiful and unique place!
