Check in can be time consuming if you arrive when it is busy. Taxi driver recommendation was amazing.

La reserva fue rápida, los anfitriones estuvieron muy pendientes del registro y todas las indicaciones necesarias para nuestra llegada, encontramos un apto que superó nuestras expectativas tanto por mobiliario como sus espacios confortables, el check out se realiza a las 12 que es una hora óptima para realizarse; adicionalmente el condominio es muy completo para vacacionar por todos sus componentes y salida directa al mar ,lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

The condo and building were probably the nicest in all of Santa Marta! Very safe and the staff are really sweet. There is nothing nearby but there is a little store downstairs which is really convenient and taxis are really cheap. There are multiple pools and it’s right on the beach. The beach is not crowded so much more low key than El Rodadero. We stayed for a month and the power was out but they were nice enough to book us another condo in the same building until it returned. The only thing that could improve is the furniture. They have outdoor furniture in the living/dining rooms which is uncomfortable. Since we stayed for a month it mattered but probably wouldn’t matter for short stays. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s but never had they done an “inventory check” before I leave and the cleaning lady was arguing with me over a hand towel. I could do without that part as that’s the last experience.

The place is great. You have access to all the amenities of the building (Three pools, 11 Jacuzzis, Squash court, Play room, beach. If you’re traveling with your spouse only or a very small family, the place is excellent. The apartment’s furniture doesn’t comfortably accommodate remote work. There is no desk and the furniture is very uncomfortable to work on. The hosts are incredibly responsive and well intentioned. They increased the speed of the internet for me (I work remote) and always went above and beyond to respond to my questions and requests. The apartment is in Pozos Colorados, which is not Bello Horizonte (the better part of that area). The building itself is located in a bit of a shoddy area with unfinished buildings surrounding it. Not ideal for a family with kids. That being said, once inside the building, you feel safe. The view is lovely and can enjoy many sunsets!
