Not able to get in from beginning due to no key. Neighbours were very nosy not much privacy. Had no hot water for our stay host accused us of lying , felt horrible and dirty because of this after paying a lot of money. Don’t go to this place save your money.., Host leaves you hanging so unhelpful and disappointing

Mooi huis en mooie omgeving, beschrijving klopt niet met aangetroffene, geen beschrijving in huis over het gebruik van de apparaten etc, geen snorkel spullen, totaal geen respons op e-mail, verkalkte toilet en douche beneden waardoor het zeer slecht werkte. Bonus: wel een wasmachine aanwezig dus handdoeken kunnen wassen aangezien ze in 1 week maar 1 x werden verschoond.

Whilst the villa is overall very nice, and location is good, there were many disappointments which, when it is your MAIN holiday of the whole year, were unacceptable! For example: Katerina was very difficult to contact regarding any queries or issues. She does not respond to messages and emails. When we finally did manage to contact her, she promised to sort out our ‘issues’ but then went completely silent and never helped us with anything! We wanted some basic info on the immediate local area / bus info / rubbish disposal info, etc. as there was NOTHING provided in the villa to help us settle in or orientate ourselves. This was very bad customer service. We asked for the pool lights to be fixed / some vegetable knives for the kitchen / some decent sun umbrellas for the pool area ( they were broken and inadequate) and all of this was ignored despite telling us she would sort them all the next day! This came across as very rude. If they had attempted to rectify our issues as promised and maybe apologised, we would perhaps feel differently. This was our one holiday of the year and the price should have reflected a high-end luxury stay ( as it was presented in the write-up) but this was a massive disappointment. On a more positive note, the villa as clean and comfortable overall, despite lack of kitchen knives and showers all faulty in some way) . The pool was clean ( but be careful that the pool cleaner doesn’t just leave the pool hoover in all day so you can’t use the pool - which happened once until we said something!) the cleaners did a good job when they came, but we were promised every 3 days which didn’t happen - they came on day3, on a 9 night stay, but then nothing until the day before we were leaving which was pointless! I would not mind having only one clean, but don’t promise us more than one if it’s not going to happen! The town is walkable, as is beach & a water park which is good for teens but you must know that it is a steep uphill walk back to villa ( and remember it will be hot!). We had a member of the group who struggled with this and it would have been good to know beforehand. There is no welcome pack ( even water in the fridge would have been thoughtful) and no simple basics like salt / olive oil / dishwasher tablets - at least a small offering would have been appropriate. Overall, the villa itself is lovely but the management of it by Katerina and Astarte Villas is awful. They need to get all aspects of customer care right when dealing with something as precious as people’s annual holiday. I hope they sort this out, but for these reasons we would sadly not deal with Astarte Villas again and would not recommend.

The villa is very nice, the pool is lovely and we had a good time there, but there were quite a few issues or things that are on the listing but not at the property. There was no information book at the villa and we couldn't get through on the phone number given. No-one was able to drop in to welcome us until the day after. So we didn't know anything about the villa and how things worked or the local area, or even if we could drink the water! No-one replied to our request for the Netflix password or the location of things that were missing from the villa but listed on the website. Missing items were oil, salt, pepper, kitchen knives, oven gloves, snorkelling equipment, beach blanket, toaster, BBQ charcoal or skewers, first aid kit Some of the equipment was inadequate (sun umbrellas) and possibly a little dangerous (the flimsy BBQ). The hot water is absolutely scalding and there should be a warning about this.

The Villa was perfect for our first night in Zante , well equipped and spacious. close to Zante town and a good size pool
