A perfect stay if you are travelling with small children. Very private and peaceful, no staircase so little ones can freely explore. The place is very well insulated which was again great for little crawlers as it was nice and warm. The location itself is absolute perfection overlooking beautiful fields with sheep and a garden. Lots of walks from the doorstep and a very friendly pub nearby. Can't fault it really, all specs were very well thought out. I really appreciate that there is no clatter whatsoever, again makes it safe with kids and makes it all look tidy.

Thanks for having us. Was a perfect spot to stay for weekend around Dorset. Great place for dogs. Nice kitchen to cook. And lots of good walks in the area. Recommended

A beautiful cottage mindfully designed to provide privacy from the main house while still allowing for access to the owners stunning gardens and grounds. Their fruit trees are beautiful! We were here for my mothers 90th birthday, so having the cottage on one level with a stylish 'wet room' shower really helped. My daughter loved the generous bath in the ensuite we shared in the twin room. Cooking a nice meal on the first night was easy thanks to the well-equipped open plan kitchen. If you like to eat-in, buy food to bring with as it's a bit of drive to a big supermarket. Going out for lunch & dinner was pretty easy as The Foresters is walking distance. It has great pub grub and a decent wines by the glass listing. The Pythouse was super for lunch and a walk around the gardens. It's a 10mins drive away. The Beckford Arms 20mins away was also lovely and if you fancy the coast, Durdle Door and Lulworth is a 1hr scenic drive away. Olivia was at all times helpful and a very gracious host!
