Nick and Tamsin made the house so beautiful for Christmas with 2 decorated trees inside and more (3) outside so beautifully lit. Lots of Christmas goodies for the grandchildren and our new puppy. It felt like home immediately and set the scene for a most wonderful and warm family Christmas with both our children, their spouses and our 2 grandchildren all with us. And the outdoor play area with trampoline, swings, climbing and sit on battery tractors was just fantastic. It really was home away from home and suited us perfectly. We can’t thank them enough.

This is my third time at Bachelor Lodge and it says it all already. If you need an escape from the city and spend great quality family time this is the place to go. It is home away from home. We all love our time there and my kids are constantly ask me when we plan to go again. Stunning property, impeccable cleaning, equipped with everything you might need. The most welcoming hosts always available and super responsive and eager to make you having the most out of the days you spend at their place, the greatest asset of this place. Our stay at Bachelors Lodge was wonderful from start to end. We felt that everything was catered for, both for us and our dogs. The immediate impression was that it was clean and decorated luxuriously. Nick and Tamsin had thought of absolutely everything and the extra final touches, from the BBQ and fire pit to the fresh bread and flowers, really meant a lot. There was so much to do and the gardens were just beautiful. We would all come back in a heartbeat. Hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

A slice of Suffolk country side, surrounded by summer fields & woodlands sits the pretty Lodge, the property has ample parking and beautifully kept grounds. The lodge is a perfect family gathering point. The communication with the hosts Tamsin & Nick has been excellent from the point of booking, they were incredibly accommodating with the needs of the entire family. Even the grandchildren aged 2.5 years & 3 weeks old, they had everything they could possibly need. The attention to detail throughout the property is outstanding, all the textiles and finishings are to the highest of standards. All the essentials were in abundance at the property, we’ve never seen and Airbnb with so many essentials such as dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, cleaning items, and let’s not forget the famous lodge open bar! The kids playground was a hit and Nick giving them a spin on the dirt buggy was a highlight for sure. A big thank you to Tamsin & Nick for our best Airbnb Stay so far.

Our recent stay at the Bachelors Lodge exceeded all expectations. The Lodge offers a wide array of amenities guaranteed to delight every family member. For the young ones , the Lodge boasts an enchanting playground equipped with swings, slide, trampoline alongside the thrilling addition of motorised buggies, providing an exhilarating and worry-free experience for both kids and adults alike. The decor subtly infuses an air of luxury while maintaining an inviting warmth. Every corner was spotless, mirroring the Lodge’s commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, which is something I highly comments in these times. The highlight of our visit, however, was the remarkable service provided by the owners. Their hospitality was second to none- always friendly and helpful the warmth and personal attention made us feel welcomed. We had an unforgettable experience, a real gem, combining luxury, fun and exceptional customer service. Thank you Tamsin and Nick! We will definitely be back!
