Loved the Lavender House. Greg was super accommodating. We arrived really late and we were able find everything and get into our room. I had to work the next day and was able to work downstairs with a lovely view and fast wifi.

Unfortunately, Greg’s place wasn’t for us; he has a dog on premise that I was allergic to and the house was still under a lot of construction when we got there. Greg was kind enough to refund our stay, we were very thankful for that

Greg was very helpful the entire time we were there and responded promptly even when we texted him late in the night. He had great suggestions as far as restaurants and wineries go, and we would love to stay here again!

Greg's Lavender Inn is perched above downtown Atascadero with a view of the domed neo Classical City Hall through the oak trees in his backyard. He is restoring the house to its golden age using his expertise in architecture. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Sage Room for two and a half months, extending our stay after the first month. The room was comfortable and quaint with enough room for both of us to do yoga together. Westward facing windows look out at the backyard and oak trees, my favorite sunrise view. There's a kitchenette with ample drawer storage space, a mini fridge/freezer, Keurig coffee maker and a microwave; everything you'd need in case you don't want to leave the room. The newly renovated bathroom and cast iron tub was the perfect way to soak in the day. We had access to the down stairs kitchen, cooking utensils and shared it daily. But when we didn't feel like cooking or making tea, downtown Atascadero had all that we needed just a stones throw away: cafes (Bru and Malibu Coffee), restaurants (Kogi, Street Side) and bars (Central Coast Distillery, The Raconteur Room). Also in town there are wonderful antique shops, my favorite being the Hope Chest Emporium. With Atascadero being so centrally located to Paso Robles (wine), San Luis Obispo (city amenities), and all the beach communities from Pismo to San Simeon; I couldn't think of a better place to experience the magic of the Central Coast. And I would highly recommend the Lavender Inn, I know that I will be returning. Thanks for everything Greg.

My husband and I came for the weekend. It was a nice place to stay. Our room was very comfy and cozy. The property is under construction. So not yet put together but its a beautiful work in progress. Greg was a great host. Can't wait to come back when its all finished.
