This tiny home is a great experience for anyone who has ever thought of living in one! Amy has created a beautiful little home and placed it in a place that calls one back to nature. It was a clean space, very comfortable and the best sleep I had throughout my entire stay in Colorado! The bug situation wasn't as bad as other reviews stated. Barely a bother at all to be honest. Amy was super kind and friendly, she came out a couple times just to make sure we were good, which was very appreciated. It is quite the private space you have in this tiny home, and while we didn't get to thoroughly enjoy the outdoor seating due to rain, I would heavily recommend you waking up at around 3-4am and stepping outside on a clear night. The sight of so many stars against a mountain/forest backdrop is breathtaking to say the least. Would definitely love to stay again if I'm ever in the area!
This place was so cute! We stopped in for just a night but it fit the description perfectly. It was really cozy and comfortable.
Amy was a great host! Beautiful area, very quiet, and just like listed. Yes, there are bugs, but you're also outside in the forest. Amy made it clear what to do to avoid the bug issue, which is very easy to do, and helped answer any questions I had. Would totally stay again when visiting that area of Colorado.
Worth the read before booking. I had booked this cute little tiny home for my boyfriend and I’s birthday. We were so excited about being away from everyone and everything. We arrived to the air bnb on my birthday later than we had expected due to traffic, blocked off roads, and car issues. When we arrived and went to walk inside, it felt like I had walked through spider webs on the doorframe. Turns out it was just thousands of tiny little bugs. When we entered into the home there were so many bugs I felt like I couldn’t breathe without inhaling them. In the morning I messaged Amy to see if there was anything I could do to get rid of them. She told me to clean even though we had been there for less than 12 hours. She was not kind with her responses. This was incredibly disappointing. What was supposed to be a 7 day stay, ended up lasting 12 hours. We only got half our money back even though it was quite literally unlivable. Very disappointed in how the host handled the situation.
The best hiking trail is in the Mountain Park off S. Pine Drive.
During winter, check the weather! You may need 4 Wheel Drive and/ or Chains. The hill on Vine Mesa Avenue is usually plowed. My driveway is gravel and I try to shovel it but my neighbor only plows my driveway occasionally. I have no trouble with my RAV4. Park on South side of my driveway.

I was a Realtor for Rocky Mountain Realty in Pueblo and my passion is restoring old houses. The tiny house is located next to an old cabin; It reminds me of an old Swiss Chalet. I currently live in the cabin. I've restored many Victorian and Craftsman homes in Pueblo. I'm originally from Denver. I had no idea the Southern mountains were so beautiful!
