over 6 hours travel with 2 children under 1 and a dog I asked for early check in - 1pm to avoid the usual checking rush & settle in after a long trip. host was unresponsive & was not able to assist us due to being the only reception staff on duty. After driving back and forth to collect keys we discover that the garage remote doesn’t work and the keys for the doors don’t work & don’t even match the locks on the house! over half an hour to locate assistance & another 15 minutes before we were able to enter the property. Entry was used by a cleaner simply lifting the garage door open. 45minutes passed before replacement keys were dropped off to us. saved your staff the trouble and cost of calling out a garage door tech by fixing the garage door back into its locked setting so the door could work with the remote. Underneath furniture was not vacuumed when we moved furniture. Bathroom & kitchen has ants problem & couldn’t leave baby bottles or dog food out due to ants. Furniture damaged.

Lovely location by the water, nice looking accommodation, pet friendly and easy check in and out process - could have a bit better maintanence (toilet roll holders not well secured) and more thorough clean prior to check in (old used can found upstairs area) but overall would come back again. Thanks

The quality overall was not good so it was not good value for money. Cleanliness was not good with mould in the shower recesses. Paintwork was worn and filthy on stairs. Water views were advertised but there were none. Kitchen was badly equipped with eg only two water glasses and two teaspoons. Ensuite toilet did not work properly. Towels were old and thin and no face washers. Coffee quality was very poor. Damaged garage walls and a dangerous ditch alongside the driveway. The whole place and presentation needs to be improved.
