Wonderful, brief getaway with our kids and pups. Access to the creek is amazing! It’s so beautiful! The meadow is great to play in, the fire pit is huge, there was plenty firewood, the house had several game and movie options, and the kitchen had all we needed. Beds were comfy. I do wish it was a bit further away from the tiny cottage but that would prevent us returning. There’s so much to do in Mountain View if you are the type that wants to rest by the creek, as well. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful location!! The meadow is an easy walk down to the creek. Great bank to sit by the water. Surrounding hills make it feel like you are miles away, but you can get to town easily!

Lovely cabin. My family enjoyed it very much. We had fun in the creek fishing and looking for crawfish with the kids. We loved building the fire and roasting marshmallows. It was a overall a great family time for sure. Some things that we did not like is that the big bathroom downstairs did not have enough water in the toilet tank so everyone had to use the small upstairs bathroom, but the sliding door here had big gaps on both sides and you could see inside as you walked by. It was uncomfortable being in the bathroom. There were spiders in the upstairs bedrooms, wish they sprayed the inside for bugs. Wish the sun room downstairs had cleaner windows, it was pretty dirty from the outside with lots of spiders and spider webs. Same for the upstairs balconies, so no one used them. The cabin on the left is also waaaaay too close. There were people in there and we felt like we had to keep shushing the kids, we also felt a bit uncomfortable as it did not feel private at all. Lovely overall.
