We loved John’s’s House. While one of the oldest houses in Montauk , it is charming and very well maintained and equipped. The living room and kitchen are spacious. All bedrooms , with the exception of one bedroom near the kitchen, are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are up to date. The heating in winter was first rate. The house is really perfect for a large family gathering like we had for the holidays. And many rooms have a perfect view of the ocean, with an easy hop to the beach across the street. Last but not least, John was a very responsive and engaging host. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home with great views of the water, especially while sitting on the front patio (we sat there for hours each morning). House was spotless when we checked in. Used to be a bed and breakfast so each bedroom was almost like a mini suite, very comfortable. The host was friendly and responsive, as we had a minor issue which John took care of promptly. Overall a great experience! We will surely rent here again in the future.

This was a perfect home for a family vacation. There was plenty of living space and a beautiful kitchen in addition to the five bedrooms and bathrooms. The picture windows in the living room, dining room and the front porch allowed for stunning views of the ocean! The ideal location is also conveniently close to the towns and restaurants.
