Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Kelly's home. Before we arrived, Kelly emailed me to say the key to the house was locked in the jammed lockbox, and the house was unlocked. When we got into the house, there was no key on the table or counter. I called, left a message, and her husband called back. He told us to leave the door unlocked when we went out since they never lock their door. I told him we were not comfortable with that. He arrived about 10 minutes later and installed a new deadbolt. On the table in the kitchen was a sheet with house rules. It stated that the closets and dresser drawers in the master bedroom were "off limits". I'm sure some people don't mind living out of their suitcase, but we do. This information was not in the Airbnb site for this property. Kelly is listed as a "Super Host" and has committed to a higher level of cleanliness. Overall, the house seemed clean, but the dishes did not feel or look clean. I washed every dish, pot, and silverware we used. There has been some excellent renovation work done in the house, and the bathroom was very nice. I can't say it was a comfortable or relaxing stay.

Gracious hosts. Beautiful surroundings and lake view. Close to downtown. Lots of space inside for a toddler learning to walk 😇 and game night with older kids. Would we return? Yes.

The house was in a great location on a very quiet street. It was very clean and had a great backyard patio facing the lake with a good size fire pit. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area
