Bryn Du sleeps eight guests in four elegant bedrooms with two en suite and one family bathroom, making the house ideal for one large family or two families sharing.
Bryn Du was such a wonderful house. It’s beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need. The kitchen was like a light box in the morning with the sun shining into it and you’re just surrounded by beautiful views. The location was fantastic, and the ease of getting onto the coastal path meant we watched sunset every night over the sea. Also, the night sky there is just stunning with no light pollution. Jackie was great for all correspondence. We would definitely stay here again.
Great place in a remote location with lots to do nearby. The cottage is big with lots of space and games. there is also the beach hut with a pool table and table tennis which proved a big hit when the weather wasn't good.
We stayed at This beautiful cottage for 4 nights and the only downside was we wished it was longer! We were there with our family - a reunion after almost 3 years of being kept apart due to covid travel restrictions- four adults and two children and made some very happy memories. From the moment we arrived we were in love with the place. The views were amazing and the cottage had everything and more that we needed. We were able to have an early check in which was very much appreciated after a four hour drive. There was a bottle of bubbly waiting for our arrival and the place was immaculate. There is a very well equipped kitchen full of everything you need to cook, plenty of crockery and cutlery, pans, serving dishes. Can’t think of anything we missed. Even herbs and spices, tea, coffee etc. plus the bi/fold doors were great and the views stunning. the bedrooms and beds were very comfy. A lovely open fire in the lounge. There were several seating areas in the large garden and the play barn was fantastic. We had fun playing pool, table tennis and air hockey. The little snug area was great for playing board games with a fire burning in the fuel burner. Just a short walk to the coastal path and lovely walks. Definitely recommend the view at sunset. Stunning! Aberdaron is a very cute little village. We didn’t walk there as it was raining the day we went, but just a short journey in the car and enjoyed a walk around the area. A couple of pubs, cafes and a fish and chip shop. Also a nice little beach area. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway in a beautiful part of Wales. We’re all hoping to return again (many times!)
Beautiful home in spectacular countryside. One of our favourite air bnb stays . Highly recommended
Great cottage, secluded and very scenic location close to the coastal path. Lovely spot to enjoy peace and nature, at the same time have access to things we are used to.Easy to communicate with the host and prompt responses. We had an excellent holiday and were very impressed how well the different facilities (board games, trampoline, table tennis etc.) and fun accessories (beach buckets, ball) have been planned for the enjoyment of guests. Would love to come back here for another holiday.
Nowhere is far from the sea on the Llŷn, which is famous for the unspoilt beauty of its coastline. A quarter of the peninsula has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - with Aberdaron specifically designated as such. Favourite beaches include Whistling Sands (a 30 minute walk along the coastal path from the garden gate!) Porth Iago, Aberdaron, Abersoch and many more. Coasteering, diving, waterskiing and windsurfing are also major visitor activities.
Aberdaron village, 5 minutes in the car, has two pubs, an upmarket Fish and Chip restaurant, several coffee shops, a small supermarket and a Bakery / Coffee Shop selling sumptuous freshly baked bread and treats.
There are many beautiful walks either on the doorstep or further afield, with Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon, an easy day trip.
When night falls make sure you enjoy some time around the cottage's firepit. The cottage is a perfect spot from which to star gaze, with the area a designated 'Dark Sky' area.
Less than 50m from the cottage garden gate is the Llyn Coastal Path and just over a mile’s walk brings you to Whistling Sands, possibly the most beautiful beach on the peninsula. Just under 2 miles the other way across the hills is the historic fishing village of Aberdaron.
Both are 5 minutes by car. The popular seaside resorts of Nefyn and Abersoch are 30 minutes away.
