La casa di Paolo è un gioiello, sia esteticamente sia per quanto riguarda la comodità. C’è tutto e per qualsiasi necessità c’è subito una risposta immediata. La pulizia è ineccepibile e la posizione è ottima sia per chi vuole riposare sia per chi vuole esplorare attivamente il territorio. Lo consiglio vivamente!

This is not bad for the area but it’s not great, there was dust on the bedding and spiders everywhere. It’s Italy, I get it but the floor wasn’t swept, lots of particles on it. Shower has max 4 min of hot water so girls don’t plan on washing hair. Parking can be a hassle using the gate every time to enter and exit onto a curvy mount road. Felt safe though, AC was great for being here in July! Kitchen has bare minimum so don’t plan to cook elaborate meals. He left some crissonts and bread and juice for welcoming gift/breakfast. Staircase is Italian, small narrow and steep for those that have difficulties, do not recommend. Owners cousin is next door to help with any problems in a timely manner. Will be trying a new place when we come back to Mugello. Also there’s no blow dryer here!

Adorable! You definitely need a car, but it's worth the trip. All the space you could need as a couple, and up to 6 people could fit (bit cramped then, though). The surrounding garden and landscape makes you feel like you're away from it all, without foregoing any modern comforts. We had no trouble getting around and reaching all the stunning cities and towns of Tuscany (always take the scenic route to Florence and beyond - it's stunning and barely takes longer than going by autostrada). Paolo was always available to answer questions and even came by once when we had trouble. He made us feel very welcome - the same is true for his sweet mother who lives in the villa. We would be happy to come again if we ever revisit the area!

Paolo was a great host, and the apartment was very comfortable for 2 people - there are also 2 single beds in the bedroom aside from the master bed in case you are travelling with kids (or very close friends !). Despite the fact that the house is directly on the main road, once you are inside the gate there is a lot of space, especially around the back of the house. We travelled with our cocker spaniel and she was delighted with the outdoor areas and the biscuit treats that the hosts were happy to give her. The house is built into the slope so both the upstairs and downstairs have a door with outside access. We ate most of our meals in the patio outside the kitchen or on the hill behind the bedroom. The kitchen is a bit small if like us you really like to cook elaborate meals, but for people who just need the basics it's more than adequate. The cell service inside the house is a bit spotty so it would be nice of they had wi-fi. Also oddly, the bathroom has no ventilation - no window or exhaust, so that's a bit weird. We like to go for walks, and the downside is you need to take the car and drive for a short bit to get to the walking paths - again, not a deal breaker but mildly inconvenient. Overall, it was good value for money, and since it's so close to the race circuit, if that's what takes you to the area it's a great place to stay. There are also some nice towns in the vicinity to visit and to eat out, and apparently the best restaurant for steaks in Italy is 5 minutes away but with a 2 week waiting list.

A very lovely place. We felt at home at once. :) we really enjoyed the stay and most of all the wonderful garden 🪴 🌳 Paolo was a Perfect host and always available when we needed him.
