3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms - Contemporary well-appointed, spacious accommodation within walking distance of all amenities and attractions of Tavira, famed as the Algarve’s most charming coastal town. Impressive features include polished marble and parquet flooring, a fully fitted kitchen, en suite facilities throughout and a private patio. Outdoors, a pretty courtyard adorned with eye-catching bougainvillea and sweet-smelling citrus trees surround a cooling lap pool, ideal for those hot Summer days From the main condo entrance, you are welcomed into the lovely courtyard decorated with attractive shrubs and bushes leading to the deliciously sparking lap pool (10m x 2m; 1.5m deep). Here you can take a refreshing dip and then relax on the sunbeds provided. Converted from an old olive mill, the apartment has been cleverly designed over three floors to offer ample space and light, while exceptional equipment levels and contemporary furnishings and décor combine effortlessly with polished marble and parquet flooring to make for thoroughly modern interiors. GROUND FLOOR - From the apartment entrance, enter the open plan living space with its comfy sofas and a large dining table and chairs overlooked by a panoramic window from the kitchen, fully equipped with appliances and utensils, ideal for home catering. The kitchen patio door leads to a small private enclosure with a bistro table and chairs. FIRST FLOOR – Comprises 1 Twin bedroom (can be made double), and a double bedroom with a Juliet balcony, both sharing a separate shower room, and with a corridor leading to a sunny terrace, facing the internal courtyard and overlooking the pool. SECOND FLOOR: The huge master bedroom suite is beautifully appointed with its own private bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a desk for office space if required. This is a private accommodation and guests will be able to access all advertised areas and use all advertised facilities. There are 2 internal stair cases within the property. Parking is on street, and spaces are generally available at the rear of the condominium without charge.

Every once in a while you find a place and say to yourself, “I could live here” - well this is one of those places. Sue personally checked us in and gave us a tour of the town with several recommendations on locations to visit. The townhome was perfect: plenty of space to stretch out and centrally located to the town square. The roman bridge and a grocery store were less than a five minute walk. This townhome is truly a place that we will come back for an extended stay in the future.

Great place, looks essentially new and was absolutely lovely. As advertised or arguably even better than the photos. Super walkable to downtown and a bakery around the corner. Sue was super helpful including when seeking parking for our giant van (6 ppl + luggage). The master suite was super private which we appreciated. We opted not to use the outdoor pool in winter due to plenty of other attractions in the area, but it looked lovely and not horribly cold even for Dec/Jan. Our New Years celebration was great with a live event and fireworks downtown. The only thing to keep in mind is the stairs: the apartment has three floors and the climb to the top floor was substantial. Don't take the place if you're not feeling up to climbing!

A fabulous, spacious, quality apartment in an excellent location. Well kitted out, we appreciated the English speaking tv channels and great air-con. Sue, who met us and showed us around was excellent in providing a good welcome and info throughout the trip. The shared courtyard area is kept immaculately clean every day. The automatic shutters keep out the sun when you’re not around to keep the apartment cool. The apartment is located just off a pretty square with gardens and a wide choice of restaurants and convenience shops with a fab bakery just around the corner. You’re just minutes away from the Roman bridge. We found the Porta Nova train stop a closer option to Tavira central. It is “unmanned” but you simply buy tickets on the train - about £3 to faro pp. Easily walk to the ferry stop to go to Tavira Island and also Pingu the nearest supermarket - very affordable. Our only suggestions for improvement would be cushions for the outdoor furniture, and salt and pepper.

Within walking distance, you will find an abundant and growing list of excellent eateries serving flavoursome dishes to suit all tastes. Wander through narrow, cobbled streets, enjoy resplendent gardens, meander through an old town rich in history, or simply enjoy a refreshment or two at one of the many cafés and bars. The colourful morning market is a must for foodies while a fun ferry trip takes visitors to the impressive ten-kilometre island beach where the clean waters of the Atlantic Ocean lap against golden dune backed sands. The local salt flats provide an important local industry and form part of the vast Ria Formosa Natural Park, an area of outstanding beauty, excellent for bird watching, walking and cycling.
Great town centre location ensuring all amenities are within easy walking distance. The use of a car is not essential when renting this property.

• Bus – Buses run across the entire Algarve coastline and the nearest stop is at the central station on the other side of the river - 10 minutes walk
