Bistrica Cottage is located next to the Bistrica river. River was named based on its crystal clear water. Therefore, nature surrounding as one of the main attractions gives feeling of fairy tale. Once upon a time, this was a mill house which is renovated to meet nowadays requirements. By it's address, cottage belongs to village Perići, even though it's distanced around 2km from it. Therefore, cottage is isolated and offers privacy. Cottage is the 4 star (*) holiday home for 5 people. Ground floor is open concept living area, equipped with kitchen, dining space and bathroom. Upper floor is open floor plan loft with king size bed and one single bed, sofa, fireplace stove and balcony with the lovely view to the river and waterfall (during season of higher water level) as well as the view of the meadow and the barbecue area. Loft is designed as sleeping area for three persons, two persons additionally are able to sleep at the couch (160x200) in the ground floor living area. For your comfort, cottage is fully air conditioned, even though during the hot summer days the temperature is comfortable to stay due to combination of stone walls and wood. For heating of the house, fireplace and electric radiators are available. Free wi-fi is available inside and outside of house. Our entertainment system includes TV, indoor and outdoor speakers with wifi/bluetooth connections and iPad. In front of cottage is the terrace, meadow and the barbecue area. Behind the cottage is the wooden heated hot tub with sunbeds for relaxation with the sound of waterfall and river. For brave ones, due to its cold water, river can be suitable for swimming, but for all others there is a hot tub. Combination of hot tub bath and short entrances to the river is a unique experience which we would recommend. House is convenient for relaxing and enjoying during the day and night. With our local partners, for extra price we can offer you: - Massage - Bike rent - Food catering (local traditional dishes and/or international dishes) - Sport climbing with the professional instructor on the rocks distanced only few steps from the cottage

Haben für unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub wortwörtlich ein kleines Paradies auf Erden gefunden. Die Bilder geben die Schönheit der Einrichtung, der Gegend, sowie all der vielen kleinen Details (eingebettete Lage der ehemaligen Mühle in die Flusslandschaft, stilvoll handgefertigte Möbel aus Massivholz, Kücheneinrichtung, Außenbereich etc.) nur ansatzweise wieder. Genauso ein großes Lob an Martin und seinen Vater bezüglich Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit, Erreichbarkeit und angebotenen Service. Wem die Einsamkeit, die Ruhe und die Möglichkeit der uneingeschränkten Selbstversorgung nicht genügt, kann sich sogar auf Martins Initiative hin mit Lieferdienst von den örtlichen Restaurants oder Massageservice bedienen lassen. Nur zur Einordnung - in Dtl. würde da garantiert kein Pizzabote hinfahren in die abgeschottete Gegend. Genauso wurde der Stromausfall nach einem starken Gewitter binnen 10 Min. behoben nach Martins Anruf. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung unsererseits, hier ist der Gast noch König!
What a spectacular experience in every sense of the word. The hospitality, the scenery, the details in design, construction and functionality, the sights and sounds of nature. I could go on and on. Martin and his dad were so helpful and treated us like long lost friends. The cottage is so charming and warm and cozy. We will always remember our stay at Bistrica Cottage. Just go and experience this little slice of heaven.
There are no words to describe the beauty of this place, so peaceful and relaxing, we felt like we have our own Peace of Haeven. The nature surrounding the house is amazing. The house is on small island sourrounded by river... So nicely decorated, with so much care on details, respecting nature and tradition. The Hot tub was so relaxing and fun, defintly big plus. Sitting in Hot tub in the night with outside temperature of 5°C and then enterning cold river, experience to remeber. The host Martin and his dad were wonderful, they are at your disposal for everthing and they really take care of their guests. Small touches like coffee, nice tea bags, spices in kitchen cabinets, bathrobe and not to forget traditional woolen slippers that you Get as a gift make them perfect hosts. I Will definitely come back to this HEAVEN on Earth.
Bistrica cottage je smještaj kao iz bajke! Martin i njegova obitelj paze na svaki detalj i trude se da vam ništa ne fali za vrijeme boravka. Vidi se da ovo rade s puno ljubavi i razumijevanja što gostu treba. Svima bi preporučila odmor na ovakvom bajkovitom mjestu! 😃
Honestly this is the most spectacular, beautiful, relaxing, special place I’ve ever stayed. Martin and his family were more than welcoming and the cottage is beyond beautiful in a fairy tail setting. Complete privacy with nature right next to you. When we arrive Martins father welcomed us as showed us around. The fires were lit and the outdoor hot-tub was filled and warm. Nothing was too much trouble. This is an amazing place for a family or couple to come and stay. We will certainly be back - thank you!
