Our stay at this place couldn’t have been more amazing! Literally everything was perfect, and it was with no doubt the best Airbnb experience had so. Even prior to our stay, we knew that we were in good hands. This was not only because the host was incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in us and our plans, but also because the host was providing us with recommendations for during our stay. There was not a language barrier at all as Li’s English is perfect! Li and her family even offered to arrange a taxi to collect us at the airport and bring us to their apartment/residence. At time of arrival we had the warmest welcome with a nice welcome drink and received even more recommendations of ‘the things to do’ in the city – and trust me, this were definitely not only the mainstream things to do in Havana! Even the first night we slept like a baby in the nice and cozy guest room. The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious, and so is the bathroom. The next day, Li walked us around town to show us around and see the neighborhood – it was lovely. Also, the breakfast at their place is great and included lots of fresh fruits, fried eggs or an omelet, fresh juice, and so on. One thing is for sure, you will not leave the residence with an empty stomach. Furthermore, it’s good to note that apart from breakfast you can also have and enjoy dinner at their place if that’s something you’d like. And from our experience dinner at their place is definitely recommended as Li’s dad will arrange the best and freshly caught sea food for you, which comes with a great amount of fresh and healthy side dishes. While enjoying the delicious meal prepared by Diana, you can also enjoy and experience the real Havana by night as you have a direct view on the streets of Havana from the guests’ dining room.   The residence is located in central Havana and from there you can easily walk ‘down town’ or take a taxi if you’d prefer to drive there instead. Should you wish to grab a taxi, Li and her family are happy to arrange one for you. (The same goes for finding your next casa/place to stay in one of Cuba’s other beautiful villages or cities like Viñales or Trinidad to name a few). Altogether, we couldn’t have wished for better hosts during our stay in Havana and would definitely come back here. The food was amazing, Li and her family were incredibly nice and made sure we made the most out of our stay. So, if you’re planning on going to Cuba and visiting Havana, make sure you book at least one night at this place – we promise you will not regret it! PS. If you’re looking for the best Mojito’s in Havana, the best restaurants, the best cigars, or the nicest places to dance or enjoy live music – whether you’re looking for mainstream or more local stuff - Li and her family will know where to go, so make sure you’ll remember that while staying with them…

Il soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. Con un costo aggiuntivo mi hanno fatto trovare un taxi che mi ha portato fino a casa. L’ospitalita’ e’ stata eccezionale. Colazione e cena con qualità eccellente. Lo raccomando vivamente!! Riguardo alla posizione direi centralissina e di facile accesso. Stanza molto comoda e pulita mi sono sentito come a casa. Senza dubbio quando tornerò all’Avana mi piacerebbe ritornare da Li..
