The view is so absolutely stunning - it's like having a painting come to life every day, the accommodation is so well done with lot's of seating areas and all comforts are considered - the area being close to a town is great as you can access local restaurants whilst feeling the tranquility of being away from it all. The sheep and goats add to the atmosphere. Personal touches by Deanne and Nigel make it all the more special. Perfect for a family stay.

As a party of four adults we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Thea. The house had everything we could possibly need and the hosts, Nigel and Deanna had included all the basic provisions you might need - including beer! Nigel was very communicative and called several times during the week to check we were ok and had everything we needed. The property itself is aging a little now and some of the fixtures would benefit from refurbishment / replacement but everything worked fine. The house has stunning views over the Ionian and a beautiful and well maintained outside area. All in all we could not have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return.

We could not have been happier with our vacation to Agia Effimia and the Villa Thea. The Villa is located up a hill to allow for an unobstructed view of the water and sunrise. I promise that it is not an inconvenience and in fact fun to drive up giving a feel of arriving in your own private estate. The space maintains a romantic feel of a Greek villa while having all the amenities one would desire on vacation (patios, pool, washer drier, dishwashers). The property is serene and manicured with tiles, flowers, leisure seating allowing each member of our 6 persons family space to relax. The pool is wonderful and clean and maintained by Nigel giving us a daily reprieve from the beaches and heat. Rooms provide conditioning and a very comfortable sleep. The town is small enough to feel peaceful but large enough to enjoy the amenities of vacation (restaurants, bakeries, beaches, boat rentals, grocery stores, etc). Centrally located for exploration! Can’t wait to return again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa. We were revisiting Kefalonia after our honeymoon 20 years previously, this time accompanied by our 2 teenage children. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The views are incredible but this does mean a steep drive/walk up the hill! Agia Efimia is a great location, lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from and boat hire and a cruise to Ithaca from the harbour. It’s a short drive to Myrtos beach, Sami and the Melasani and Drogerati caves and a bit further to Assos and Fiskardo which are both definitely worth a visit. There are loads of beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkelling, too many to mention!! Nigel and Deanne are fantastic hosts - thank you both so much for an amazing holiday!

This is paradise. We had such a lovely stay. Beautiful view and great location. The villa itself is great and Nigel and Deanne were really helpful. Would love to return.
