We have been visiting Beer for many, many years over which time we have stayed in most of the guest houses, bed & breakfasts and other Airbnb accommodation in the village. This was our first time at Karen’s cottage and it was by far the best of all other options. The cottage certainly has the “wow” factor especially the bathroom which has one of the largest showers ever! The bedroom has plenty of storage whilst the bed was very comfy. The kitchen area is well equipped with a sofa in front of a log burner for cosy, cooler nights. The cottage is well located being a short walk from the beach and shops, restaurants and pubs. Karen was an excellent host, quick to respond to any queries and good knowledge of the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had the most amazing stay in Beer, just what we needed to switch off and relax for a few days. Beer is charming and very calm and we loved walking (running for Simon) along the Jurassic Coast. A lovely retreat made very special by Karen and Nigel being great hosts and thinking of so many little extras. Thank you x

Everything about if was just perfect, and our hosts left us in peace, but always available if we had a query. Lovely village too. We would highly recommend.

The other reviews don’t lie - amazing cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage had everything we needed and more - just perfect for an escape to the seaside. Cosy cottage with comfy living room (including lush wood-burner), kitchen with all you need for a few days, comfy bed and such an amazing bathroom. Very highly recommended - thank you Karen and Nigel.
