What a lovely weekend away. Great to switch off. Shepherds hut and hot tub was very cozy in a beautiful picturesque spot.

Was just what we needed to get away from it all. In the middle of nowhere, Lovely setting right on the river, yes it was very muddy to get to the hut but I love mud and it fitted nicely with the time of year and setting. Great setting close enough to some lovely walks so can just park up and leave the car or also great for if you do want to drive and well situated for visiting some of the wonderful areas Cornwall has to offer. Would most certainly highly recommend. Thank you :-))

Was a beautiful, peaceful stay. Even though it rained majority of the time, we were able to use the hut perfectly, and the hot tub was a big big hit. Lots of fun things to do around the area, and a short drive away. Lesa and Neil were wonderful hosts. Thank you for having us, we definitely recommend the stay💚✨

A storybook getaway! Hidden amongst woodland, with the river on our doorstep, we didn’t regret choosing this place. The hut is intimate, meaning not a lot of space but has everything you need! Bed is comfortable, warm & clean. I managed to make a stew in the slow cooker which made us appreciate it even more ❤️ Shower is fair and clean w/warm water. If you’re not a fan of mud, I would say go in the warmer months as you will definitely need wellies this time of year. But we loved it! Waking up to the sound of birdsong & the river flowing in the morning is unmatched. Tea, bread, milk & Cornish butter provided to make a good cup of tea & toast in the morning. Wi-fi is excellent which is good as phone signal drops a lot. Would recommend the hot tub; especially if you like the feeling of the cool air in the colder months; think hotsprings in Iceland; just in Cornwall ❤️ Really close to Golitha Falls (3 min drive, 20 min walk) & Inkies Smokehouse. Both absolutely worth the visit.
