Very cozy and beautifully located cabin with everything you need. The check in was easy and flexible and the drive to Torshavn is only around 10 minutes. The communication with Joannes was always good as he was quick to respond to any question we had.

This place was perfect for my 6 nights on the Faroes. It’s a very close drive to everything in Torshavn but private and secluded to feel like you are away from it all. I had all I needed to be comfortable my entire trip and cooked most nights using the kitchen. I would 110% recommend this place. Not only is it cozy and convenient, but it is surrounded by unmatchable history!

The stay at Joanne's was the most heart pleasure of this stay in Faroe. The house is perfect and allows you to immediately feel at home. Located in Kirkjubøur, a prestige key point for trips in Faroe, you find yourself surrounded with a breathtaking view, from your window and directly when you step outside your cozy Faroe House. In the accommodation everything is organized and at your disposal, with a large living area, an organized full equipped kitchen and a super cozy bed area. Could not chose a better place in Faroe. The little town of Kirkjubøur is private an immersive, but just a 15 mins by car distant from Tórshavn, so you find everything that you need close by. Highly Recommended

Wow. Just outstanding. We loved our time in this little part of Faroe History and the quiet atmosphere a very short drive from Torshavn made it even better. The house has everything you could possibly need and is very well thought out. If you don't have a car the 5 and 7 bus come through here regularly so if you're thinking about staying here I highly recommend it. We loved the animals and sitting in our very cosy house whilst tourists came and went was fantastic. Can't recommend it more highly.
