The airport lost my lauggage and when they found it and needed to return it to me Olaf was kind enough to go out of his way to communicate with the airport and retrieve my lauggage before I arrived at his apartment. We also got lost trying to find the apartment and he was very sweet and came to show us the way. Really sweet, clean place immersed with Icelandic crafts. They even made us bread baked underground which was delicious! The scenary is spectacular. Highly recommended

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft, bei ausgesprochen freundlichen Anbietern. Alles sauber und Ordentlich mit einem Handwerklichen Selfmade-Charme. Etwas ungewöhnlich (zumindest für unsere Reise) war eine Bettruhe die es einzuhalten gilt, wer genau diese aber haben will wird hier fündig. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt!

This stay was a gem. Not pictured is a shop’s-worth of handmade works of art created by the owner, Icelandic artifacts with interesting explanations, and the unique location. I wasn’t expecting to learn so much about the local flora and fauna on our short stay. The apartment is big enough for 4 - though there are quiet hours, so a quiet group is best. Integrated throughout the unit is an ethos of nature-mindedness, sustainability, and slowing down. Good reminder if your life is frenetic. Very unique and peaceful!

We had a fantastic night in this lovely room. There are all kinds of handmade woolen products in the room, which are super cute and available for purchase. The balcony can directly see the hill, it’s so beautiful when it snows. Each room has a glass roof so you can see the aurora if you are lucky. It should be noted that the room is very environmentally friendly, it needs to be kept quiet at night, and the chairs in the restaurant can’t be moved. If I come back I will definitely choose here again.
