Shops (bakery, butcher, grocery store) are within walking distance, cycle paths are only 200 meters away. The house is located 5 minutes from Lake Maubuisson, 10 minutes from the ocean or 12km from Lacanau, 35 min from Médoc wine The house we love was built in 2018 and we moved in and decorated it in Spring 2022. We are originally from the North of France and we fell in love with Carcans, the lake and the ocean. We welcome you with pleasure and comfort. You can park your car in the gated driveway. Bicycles (6 adult bikes) are available. #oceanlauwvilla for more photos Inside you will find the open-plan kitchen, equipped with a microwave, oven, sink, Nespresso coffee machine and everything you need to cook. There is also a laundry area with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The south-facing living room has a lovely dining table and two large picture windows opening onto the swimming pool and the tiled and wooden terraces. As it faces south, we recommend keeping the roller shutters closed to keep the interior cool. The lounge area provides ample space for 6 guests, with sofa and armchairs, a flat-screen TV, Netflix, DVD player, PlayStation and GooglCast. Board games for children and adults are also available. A corridor leads to the sleeping area: 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with separate WC. The bathroom has an Italian shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail. There is no changing table or bath. Shower towels are provided (beach and pool towels are not included, please bring your own beach towels or fouta, shower towels must not leave the house). One bedroom has a 160x200cm bed. The other two bedrooms each have a 140x200cm bed. Baby equipment available: cot and mattress topper, high chair, baby bouncer, folding bathtub to be placed in the shower and changing mat to be placed on a bed. The garden and terrace are fully enclosed. The terrace has a table and 6 chairs, large garden furniture and a parasol. The outdoor kitchen has a griddle, sink, worktop and bar. The pool house has a fridge and a dry toilet. The swimming pool is heated to 26 degrees and measures 8m x 4m. It is open from May to September inclusive, during the day from 8am to 11pm. It is closed by an electric curtain which must be clipped in place by 6 fasteners to be safe from children. Closing the curtain and securing it is the responsibility of the traveller and not the host. The pool is salt water and the PH and chlorine levels are regulated automatically. To keep the pool clean, you must shower before swimming. A robot (with instructions) is available for cleaning the pool. Only owners have access to the garage. If you have an electric vehicle, it is possible to recharge it for an additional fee, 8€ for one recharge. we do not have a terminal or adapter. The villa is just 7km from Carcans Maubuisson lake and 13km from Carcans Plage. 20 minutes from Lacanau Océan, 35 minutes from the châteaux of the Médoc (Saint Estephe, Margaux and Pauillac...), 40 minutes from Arès or Andernos on the Bassin d'Arcachon side, 1 hour from the tip of Cap Ferret and 40 minutes from Montalivet.
